Discussion and skills assessment include:

Pet First Aid Kit VS Disaster Kit, Heart Rate, Normal Breathing Rate, Temperature (Thermometer check), Seizures, Cold- Hypothermia / Hot- Heat Stroke, Shock, Bleeding (Capillary, Venous, Arterial), Signs of Infection, Burn Wounds, Poison (Induce vomiting), Allergies, Dehydration, Capillary Refill, Respiratory Distress, Giving Meds, BLOAT, CPR/Rescue Breathing (Big dogs/small dogs/cats), Choking and head to tail weekly checks.
Classroom
You will be required to come into the classroom for 2 hours to complete your learning and skills assessment. Once you’ve passed your course, your Pro Pet Hero certification will be digitally sent directly to your email the same day upon class completion and will be valid for 2 years.
Certification
Our courses offer digital Pro Pet Hero 2 year certifications.
